Initially from a small town in Oregon, Tricia now lives next
to the Rocky Mountains with her bossy dog, Rosy. She received her degree in English Language and editing and is thrilled that she never has to read a textbook again. When she’s not writing or reading, Tricia enjoys putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing volleyball, and watching shows while eating extra-buttered popcorn.
Her debut novel, DAUGHTER OF THE PIRATE KING (Macmillan/Feiwel and Friends, February 21, 2017) is a YA Fantasy Romance. Seventeen-year-old Alosa Kalligan gets herself intentionally kidnapped by pirates so she can steal something off their ship. She thinks the task will be easy, but the ridiculously attractive first mate might be on to her.
The literary character she’d most like to meet: Ginny Weasley. She doesn’t get enough page time in Harry Potter, yet she’s so awesome.
Her favorite childhood book: Harry Potter
Her hobbies when not writing/reading: I love watching shows. Pretty much anything done by Joss Whedon and Shonda Rhimes. Firefly is my favorite show of all time. I also adore The 100, The Vampire Diaries, Orphan Black, Sherlock, Vikings, The IT Crowd, BBC’s Robin Hood, and BBC’s The Musketeers. I also enjoy putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing volleyball, and crocheting.
Her favorite movie: Pirates of the Caribbean
